Description
Summary:The research area is administratively located in the mining concession area of PT. Cibaliung Sumberdaya, which is in Mangkualam Village, Cibaliung District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The coordinates of the study area are at 568500.00 mE - 572000.00 mE and 9255000.00 mN - 9252000.00 mN (UTM zone 48S), with a research area of 10.5 km2. According to the physiographic zone division of West Java, the study area was included in the dome and mountainous zones in the middle depression zone of Middle Miocene to Late Miocene with morphology in the form of hills divided into 3 geomorphological units, namely Lava Flow Hills Units, Volcaniclastic Plain Units, and Hills Volcanic Products Units. Stratigraphy of the research area is based on detailed mapping from old to young consisting of 5 rock units, namely Pyroxene Andesite Lava Unit, Andesite Lava Unit, Lytic Tuff Unit, Lapili-Tuf Unit and Polymictic Breccia Unit. The study aims to determine the possible prospects of the area of the presence of gold ore bodies in low sulfidation systems in mining areas which are carried out by analyzing parameter data spatially. Spatial analysis is carried out in two phases, IUP regional GIS analysis which aims to delineate the prospect area widely, then get a more detailed prospect area using a more detailed spatial parameter data generated from the detailed GIS spatial analysis using parameter data, namely straightness density data , lithology, surface alteration, and elemental geochemical anomalies. All parameters data were processed and weighted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method so as to produce a map of gold ore prospecting which was divided into 5 prospect zones namely very low prospect zone (0,063-0,128), low prospect zone (0,129-0,172), zone medium prospect (0.173-0.207), high prospect zone (0.208-0.251) and very high prospect zone (0.252-0.438). From the distribution of this prospect zone which is then linked to the name of the research area, prospect areas are found, namely very high prospects including the Cikoneng Prospect, Cibeber Prospect and Muara Cikeni Prospect, high prospects include the Cibengang Prospect and Ramada Prospect, and the prospect is covering the Mastar Prospect and Rorah Kadal Prospect.
