Description
Summary:<p align="justify">Vulnerability study in northern and southern West Java was counducted to determine the events that could increase potential hazard because physical factor. This Project use Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) methods which use classification based on the parameters. There are 6 parameters that will be classified according to vulnerability level and 3 parameters of modified. The parameters consist of Geomorfology, Slope, Sea Level Rise, Erosion, Waves, Tides, Buildings, Roads, Total Population. Data will be proccess for every parameters, and then the vulnerability map of northern and southern West Java Coast has been created using of Geographic Information System (GIS) . Based on class of classified, Parameters of Tides, Slope, Geomorfolgy, Erosion, Road and Buildings, Northern Coast are more vulnerability that Southern Coast, and for parameters of Waves, The Significant Waves at Southern Coast is more risky than Northern Coast. For parameters Sea Level Rise, at Northern and Southern Coast of West Java has high vulnerability. The Final Map of vulnerability at norhern West Java dominated with very high vulnerability 35.69%, high vulnerability 32.15%, medium vulnerability 1.63%, low vulnerability 30.52%, with this result the vulnerability at northern west java have high vulnerability. The Final Map of modified coastal vulnerability index at southern West Java dominated with very high vulnerability 11.36%, high vulnerability 13.13%, medium vulnerability 10.86%, low vulnerability 35.35%, and very low vulnerability 29.29%. According to this result, the vulnerability at northern West Jave is high vulnerability and the vulnerability at southern West Java have low vulnerability. <p align="justify">
