| Summary: | <p align="justify">As one of the largest CPO commodity producers in West Sumatra, Teluk Bungus needs facilities to help accommodate the distribution of CPO commodities in West Sumatra. Along with the increasing demand for the distribution of CPO commodities, Teluk Bayur with a capacity of 2 million tons / year, it is unable to meet the demand for 2.5 million tons / year of West Sumatra CPO, so that the CPO Port will be built in Teluk Bungus, Padang, West Sumatra with a capacity of 1 million tonnes / year. In the case study regarding Layout of CPO Port in Teluk Bungus, Padang, West Sumatra the coverage of the discussion included the analysis of the needs of dock types and structures, determination of dock dimensions, calculation of the needs analysis of marine facilities, calculation and analysis of 3 alternatives breakwater cross sections. In this final project, an analysis of the breakwater cross-section layout of Teluk Bungus Port will be chose, where the analysis is based on the safety aspects of the ship when maneuvering into the basin, the safety of loading and unloading activities, and investment costs. These aspects are based on hydrodynamic conditions, the wave height that is processed using wave modeling software and the calculation of investment costs. After choosing the best breakwater alternatives, the CPO liquid bulk port layout can be arranged.<p align="justify"> |
