The development of the algorithm is needed to increase the measurement accuracy of the sphygmomanometer. Additional features such as data storage of measurement results are also required. <br /> <br /> Continuing previous research “Design of Arduino Based Sphygmomanometer”, this report will provide further developments in the design of the next prototype of the digital sphygmomanometer. Validated mathematical models of the cuff and arm are used as blood pressure determination algorithms. The using of this model is intended to eliminate the influence of individual characteristics to the result of the blood pressure measurement. This sphygmomanometer uses ATMega328 as a microcontroller, LCD Graph as interface display, and has memory storage feature on SD Card external memory. <br /> <br /> The result, the second prototype of sphygmomanometer is made, can measure the blood pressure accurately with range measurement of 15 mmHg. This prototype also can save up to five last measurements in the memory card text |
