Summary:Ethical climate is a view or perception prevailing in the type of organization. And the procedures used in the organization have ethical standards in regulating their behavior. It derives from the governance, values, norms and habits that exist within an organization. The issue of this research is determined by using the ethical climate research of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII in Bandung head office. The results of ethical climate research are lack of friendship and team spirit within the company. So, we can assume that in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII, there is something wrong regarding these elements. <br /> <br /> <br /> The identification of issue will be strengthen by conducted interview with informants to get clear understanding of the issue in the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII. The informants were chosen because of their involvement in this issue for several years, their expertise and experience about the employee condition, and company condition. In this research we will use MARS model to measure the factors affecting friendship & team spirit based on these four interrelated elements in order to identify the root cause of the issue according to Ethical Climate Research. <br /> <br /> <br /> After measuring the problem using the MARS model ethical climate questionnaire, the root cause of lack of friendship & team spirit factors within the company is the lack of coordination and communication between departments in PT.PN VIII. The recommended solution in this research is Buddy System and Talent Pool Management which will synergize with corporate objectives, the driver of business success of the company and also the management of employees which will increase friendship & team spirit factors in the company. Leadership training are given to leaders or managers to improve communication and motivate subordinates in rebuilding relationships between leaders and subordinates. <br />
