Several techniques has been developed to solve this problem such as plunger lift, swabbing, modified ESP, chemical injection, velocity string, and so on. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Velocity string method is usually considered ineffective in wells with low pressure because a high pressure gradient is needed to overcome the friction in small tube. In Small Tube Liquid-Lifting Technique (STLT), pipe is equipped with hole that allows gas to flow through that could lift liquid much easier. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Modelling that is done using nodal analysis has shown that with the hole in pipe, liquid that originally cannot flow, could flow because of the gas that helped to carry the liquid. text
