An important process in realizing quality data is standardized, effective and efficient data processing activities. The activities consist of series of interconnected subprocesses, the results of a sub-process will become inputs for other subprocesses and involve various work units at headquarter, provincial and district level of BPS. Differences in application standards also often cause differences in data output format that can detain the next data processing activities by other work units because it needs the process of conversion or copying of data which frequently takes a lot of time. In addition, the data compilation process of the statistical activities is still done manually by merging several databases from disctrict level BPS and then provincial level BPS sends them to BPS headquarter via mail, email, and cloud storage.
