Summary: | PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa is an industry engaged in the field of cement production in Indonesia. Plant / factory of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa is spread over three areas: Palimanan (Cirebon), Citeureup (Bogor), and Tarjun (South Kalimantan) which produce approximately 20.5 million tons of cement per year and become the second largest cement producer in Indonesia after PT Semen Indonesia Tbk as a cement supplier for Indonesia National scale. By 2017, the total of all cement production is about 102 million tons of cement. PT Indocement generates about 20.1% of the total cement production in Indonesia by 2017. While in 2017 the total demand for cement in Indonesia is about 70 million tons. The main raw material of the production process (main material) is limestone (CaCO3). In the production process of these rock materials need to be destroyed first on the rawmill unit. In the process of prostitution is produced by the side product is particulate. If these particulates are not properly managed then they can pollute the environment. Therefore PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk seeks to avoid air pollution one of its efforts is a program or project of particulate emission reduction. One of the embodiments of the program is to redesign the air pollution control (particulates) which previously was an electrostatic precipitator into a baghouse filter. The replacement of the air pollution control device (particulate matter) is intended to allow the particulate emissions released in the rawmill process not to exceed the specified emission standards, Appendix V Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 19 of 2017 concerning Quality Standards for Emissions for Cement Industry Businesses and / or Activities that Utilize Hazardous and Toxic Waste that requires parachute emissions for milling and / or grinding units to be 75 mg / Nm3 (industry category A). |
