Also, the city of Bandung was awarded as the <br /> <br /> best city in Indonesia from the Indonesia Attractivness Award (IAI) award in 2017 as the best <br /> <br /> city for tourism category with 95.30 tourism index, beyond Denpasar City (Bandung <br /> <br /> .merdeka.com, 2017). This show that Bandung's tourism existence as a favorite tourist <br /> <br /> destination in Indonesia. <br /> <br /> Muararajeun region with giant potential assets is considered very possible to be a creative <br /> <br /> urban tourism in the city of Bandung. However, the current obstacle is the lack of knowledge <br /> <br /> of craftsmen and the society regarding the concept of tourism and inadequate infrastructure. <br /> <br /> This study aims to identify potential assets as well as analyze actors and factors that can be <br /> <br /> involved in the drafting of the village screen printing tourism in accordance with the <br /> <br /> Muararajeun Region. <br /> <br /> This study conducted with design thinking approach with five main stages, namely empathize, <br /> <br /> define, ideate, prototype and test and involves various stakeholders in a design process. This <br /> <br /> method hoped can reach various innovations that have not been thought about before, are <br /> <br /> sustainable and focused on the users. The benefit of this research is to facilitate the needs of <br /> <br /> craftsmen and become a foundation in realizing the concept of screen printing tourism villages. <br /> <br /> The end of this research is seven recommendations for the development of ecosystem design in <br /> <br /> the village of screen printing tourism in the Muararajeun Region, such as the formation of <br /> <br /> tourism management institutions, human resource capacity building, association formation, <br /> <br /> regional branding, waste cloth management and the latest modernization of community <br /> <br /> cooperative or “koperasi paguyuban”. The results of this study are expected to be an alternate <br /> <br /> reference in realizing the concept of Screen Printing Tourism Village in the Muararajeun area <br /> <br /> of Bandung City. text |
