At this time there were many technologies that were tried to be used in the health sector, one of which was used to help monitor the patient's condition. The possibility of developing devices for health using the latest technology is very possible and can improve convenience. Many health systems or devices used in Indonesia are still many who use manual methods in data recording so that monitoring of the patient's condition becomes less effective and efficient. The use of the concept of the Internet of Things as a technology concept that is trending at the moment can be used as a solution to overcome problems and improve quality in monitoring the condition of patients. The IoT concept can be applied in retrieving and distributing patient data so as to improve the ease of monitoring the patient's condition. In this study the application of the concept of Internet of Things was carried out for patient monitoring systems. The proposed system has features to detect the patient's body condition with sensors, transmit sensor data, display data, and provide notifications and information to those involved in monitoring patients. In this study the concept of the Internet of Things can be applied to a patient monitoring system but needs to be developed further so that it can meet all the needs in monitoring the condition of the patient's vital signs.
