THE INFLUENCE OF VISUAL DESIGNS BLUE LIGHT ON THE ROMANTIC PERCEPTION OF CONSUMERS WITH NIGHT ARTIFICIAL NIGHT LIGHTING

The increasingly diverse and varied cafes make café owners pamper their customers in various ways such as displaying unique design interiors and offering natural landscapes with starry skies, up to thematic lighting arrangements that support the cozy and romantic atmosphere of the cafe. People wishing to enjoy this landscape must drive into the highlands and away from the city just to enjoy the clean and starry sky. Therefore, this research experiment aims to create digital simulation conditions with a blue color index approach that mimics the characteristics of the light of starry night sky. The simulation is performed as an experimental object to test the romantic perception response to the light conditions that give a natural impression. Although this night light is conjured using artificial virtual reality, the setup is expected to be implemented in a larger space such as cafes, eating places or other places.

The study is using pseudo experiment method, which aims to estimate the information obtained from experiments conducted by dividing the experiment session into 3 parts ie C1, C2, and C3, each has 3 saturation conditions of blue color index and 3 the intensity of the number the star as a stimulus representing the consecutive time span from 17.50-19.00 hours which is applied to the VR as an experimental tool. A total of twenty respondents who were subjected to research with characteristics and background work that spent 4-9 hours working in the room and respondents included in the productive age (20-35). One Way Anova's data generally reveal that responses to perceptions, emotions, and attitudes to blue-colored index illumination and star point intensity show blue blue-index index with a time-varying timeframe having no significant effect overall when using VR simulations. Only the C2 “perception” had significant value, but on the C2 “emotion” response for the intensity of the starlight points were close to significant values. text
