On the one hand, each type of performing arts undergoes positive renewal and development, but on the other hand it unconsciously creates a “one-sided communication and appreciation” pattern, which prove that Indonesian performing arts have not achieved its real communication function. This dilemma feels so real in Bandung, as the capital of West Java Province with the highest number of performing arts and performance activities in Indonesia. The limited number and condition of the performing arts facilities, must deal with government policy regarding the "Performing Arts Development Plan 2015-2019" as a creative economic development. This is a serious problem for the creators and appreciators of the performing arts in Bandung, in addition to the separated of existing rehearsal facilities and performance facilities. The Indonesian Performing Arts Space is expected to be able to answer the Indonesian performing arts problem, so that its creation communication and appreciation can be executed inclusive and optimally. text
