Summary: |
Infrastructure development is a way to accelerate economic condition of the people of Indonesia. One of the key material in infrastructure development is cement. The problem of cement industry in Indonesia which oversupply can be solved by learning the correlations and behavior of the related components with system dynamics. This study aims to make a model of cement supply chain for the infrastructure development in Indonesia. This study found that, if there is no intervention to the cement supply chain, the value of cement consumption will exceed the cement production in 2024. If the economic optimist scenario occur, cement consumption will exceed the cement production in 2021. If the economic pessimist scenario occurs, the cement industry will still be in oversupply condition. Besides that, this study conclude raw material of cement is excessive in 2025. This study suggests the stakeholder to keep the infrastructure growth above 20% and gross domestic product growth above 8%, beecause this scenario will solve the oversupply problem in Indonesia’s cement industry.
|
