Summary: | Changes that often occur in an application are changes that involve the process flow, interface and data structure. Changes to the process flow, interface or data structure certainly requires an effort to reprogram the software to remain relevant as needed. With this problem, motivation arises to facilitate these conditions by initiating an application generation from Model that is designed, so that later changes in the Application can be done without any effort to do programming, namely by developing Generic Applications that later have the ability handle changes to the Process Flow. IFML is used to describe the interaction of front-end applications. IFML can be used to facilitate a generic application development by utilizing the metadata it has, but it is necessary to add a mechanism that produces back-end interaction from the application to minimize the application development process. This thesis has achieved its goal of developing generic applications by utilizing Metadata from IFML and Content Models that is designed. The mechanism for generating applications can still be improved by increasing the speed and efficiency of various processes and stages that are passed. Generation mechanisms can also be developed for various programming languages and databases to increase the value of benefits. |
