The FAD will facilitate 5 under-graduate programs, i.e. The Department of Visual Art, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, and Craft. The facilities provided within the buildings are studios, classrooms, laboratories, workshops, a library, a gallery, and a seminar hall. In order to produce bachelors that have a keen sense of creativity in their field of studies in art and design, the main concept for designing the building for ITB's FAD in Jatinangor is "inspirative milieu". The problem statement for the design of this project is how to create a building that enchances creative abilities and passion for art among its users. The issues that need to be solved in the design for this project are interaction, image, and sustainability. This building will be designed to facilitate interactions among the users of the building as well as between the users and outsiders. This will create a sense for its users to see and to be seen. The building consists of two masses, creating an inbetween circulation path. This circulation path is designed to welcome the public to enter and to see the activities inside the FAD building. The organic form of the building's masses are an interpretation of the freedom in art.<p align="justify"> text |
