Comics are the art of motionless images that are strung together with writing to form a story. Comics entered in the list of creative industries by the Badan Ekonomi Kreatif Indonesia (BeKraf) and used as a means of entertainment, education, information, and others. It is necessary that the facilities can be a means of documentation and exhibition of the work of comic artists in an effort to maintain and disseminate the love of Indonesian people to local comics, one of them through Indonesian Comic Museum. The museum is located on Pahlawan Street No.64, Neglasari, Cibeunying Kaler, Bandung City. The project proponent is BeKraf, and the main users are the Comic Community of Bandung (Komikara), comic fans and the surrounding community. The main purpose of this museum procurement is the revitalization and preservation of local comics. Therefore, in addition to its main function, namely the museum, this building also provides library and community space as a building contribution for comic lover communities, especially those in Bandung (Komikara).
