ANALYSIS PLANNING AND CONTROL IN FOR EFFICIENCY PRODUCTION (Case Study: Knit Home Industries in Binong Jati Area)

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have an important role in economy in Indonesia SMEs have a 99.99% of the total entrepreneurs in Indonesia or 56.54 million units (Kementrian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, 2015). SMEs have proven its capability in economy in Indonesia. When the monetary crisis hit Indonesia in 1998, small and medium businesses able to survive compared to the big businesses. Either SMEs or big companies, there are always a problem with the production. So does it happen in Kampung Rajut Binong Jati. Kampung Rajut Binong Jati experiencing a decrease in production through the year 2015 – 2016. <br /> <br /> Therefore, this research aims to finds the cause of the decreasing and how that the home industries handle the issue. The sampling for this research is 25 home industries that belong to the big class in Kampung Rajut Binong Jati. The data collected for six months start from January 2018. All the data gained were analyzed using Business Process Modeling and iGrafx to determine the process with issue. <br /> <br /> This research found time efficiency for cycle time of the production process, and by that it also has impact in increasing the production in the home industry from the new process and control in production. It also found things that motivated the employee to work harder and has impact in the production. The finding in this research can help the home industries to overcome the issue regarding the decrease in production. <br />
