| Summary: | A musical performances building will be designed at a situ front city, a kind of waterfront city specified to situ (lake), called Cibinong, West Java. The plan is based on the initiative of Bogor District Government who also cooperate with Indonesia Sony Music Entertainment as one of the biggest music recording labels in Indonesia. The music entertainment building will be designed as a place especially for pop music events as the most universal music genre among all music genres. It is also the most popular music genre that is loved by people especially teenagers and youngsters lived in cities. On an area of 3.38 Ha, the project site is located in the community center of the city. There are many building types that act like the heart of the egion such as government buildings, apartments, and a hospital as a social facility. The project site also faces to a bamboo forest garden and a lake that usually called as situ by local people there. Musical performances building designing has a concern to comfort aspects consist of audial comfort (acoustics) and visual comfort at the auditorium inside the building. It still has a concern to aspects that are related to the surroundings such as image that will be created and to the users such as interaction. The result of the design process is a building that consists auditorium as the main function and other functions that accommodate public activities. The main auditorium has a capacity of 1332 seated spectators and it also has a flat area between the seatings and the stage which can be used as the area for standing spectators or additional stage. Moreover, there are a live house which accommodates small musical events, for example for indie musics, and an outdoor stage which accommodates outdoor concerts.<p align="justify"> |
