With such a high population, it can be estimated that the generation of septage in Bandung will be proportional to the high population. Even though having a high population, in fact, Bandung is one of the cities in Indonesia that do not have a Septage Treatment Plant (STP) that functionate properly. Based on the data from the wastewater division of PDAM Kota Bandung at the end of 2017, there are about 20,11% of the population served by city sewer or usually called centralized domestic wastewater treatment system (SPALD-T). Thus, there is ± 30% of people still using on-site domestic wastewater treatment system (SPALD-S). Until now, the disposal of sludge in Bandung is divided into three, which are disposed directly into the sewerage because the location of Bojongsoang WWTP which is far from the city center, discharged directly into the water body, or discharged into the Bojongsoang WWTP, and they are a method that should not be done because it can increase pollution in water bodies, or increase the concentration of wastewater that must be processed by Bojongsoang WWTP. Therefore the existence of Septage Treatment Plant (STP) is really necessary, as well as planning and design of STP which function is to process sludge produced by on-site system based on identification of problem, using literature study, primary and secondary data, quality testing sludge in the laboratory, and conducted analysis and discussion of the results to obtain the design of STP planning. <p align="justify"> <br /> text
