Bamboo (Gigantochloa Apus) is a material that grows in Asia region. Bamboo has an <br /> <br /> immense supplies in Asia, specially in Indonesia. Bamboo has stiff yet elastic <br /> <br /> characteristic.Thus, its characteristics can be developed as structural material. Bamboo <br /> <br /> elasticity can be used as many things, and one of them is to make public seat media. <br /> <br /> Bamboo usage as public seat media is stil rarely used, specially those exposing its <br /> <br /> elasticity characteristic. In this project, bamboo will be experimented to expose its <br /> <br /> elasticity. Then, the results will be used as a design component that expose its elasticity. <br /> <br /> The design of public seat furniture will be designed according to several aspects, such <br /> <br /> as behavior and comfort in order to improve the quality of user experience, in this case, <br /> <br /> for Bandung Institute of Technology college students.
