Every minute, lots of transactions take place by using an ATM machine. In Indonesia, transactions using ATM machines is one of the transactions with the largest number of transactions. But along with the development of the era, the security system of the ATM machine is perceived to have a gap. <br /> <br /> The use of ATM cards with magnetic strip technology, as well as a security system with 6 digit PIN combination base is considered vulnerable from criminal skimming and PIN capturing. In Indonesia, there are dozens of skimming crimes occurred in 2018. As a way out of these two problems, the authors and the team conducted research to design the technology of the ATM machine with the fingerprint security system combined with the 6 digit PIN security system and chip card usage (smart card) as a substitute of current ATM cards that use magnetic strip technology. In addition, the system uses a keypad that is used as a medium of interaction between the system with the customer. The ATM machine products we named Fingershield ATM. <p align="justify"> text |
