Domestic grey water derived from water use by residents of multi storage housing for daily demands which consists of the activities of drinking, cooking, bathing, washing, etc. The main purpose of this research are to find the coefficient of domestic grey water generation at multi storage housing area so that the grey water is an alternative water resource after a proper treatment and see the potential application of water reuse which will produce strategy and policy in application of water reuse. Research method implemented using direct measurements in the field with reading clean water meter is already installed in each room and grey water meter in sump well and do an interview with a questionnaire. The results of the measurement of the demand for clean water and waste water generation will result in the wastewater generation factor. To see the potential application of water reuse at Leuwigajah multi storage housing area by doing SWOT analysis method. The clean water demand was 119.89±5.07 Liters/person/day for the results of the direct measurement through water meter reading while the questionnaire survey was 72.61±5.58 Liters/person/day. The daily grey water generation coefficient factor is in the range of 63%-73% which has an average of 70%. Peak factor is in the range of 1.90-3.92. Ability (ATP) and willingness (WTP) of residents multi storage housing paying communal WWTP service at multi storage housing area is Rp. 4,500 – Rp. 7,500 per month and maximum is Rp. 10,000 per month. The potential of water reuse in multi storage housing area of SWOT method can be utilized properly and optimally by applying appropriate advanced processing technology with a financing scheme through cross subsidies among residents of multi storage housing based on the volume of clean water demand. text |
