| Summary: | <p align="justify">High levels of population growth rate in Bandung , making expansion of Bandung focus on the West Bandung and East Bandung. Soekarno Hatta roadway included in the East Bandung area. Along Soekarno Hatta roadway, there are many offices where the employees live in remote areas. Therefore, required vertical occupancy as a residence for people who indulge in the surrounding Soekarno Hatta roadway. The site is located in a developer's residential. The developer has made a masterplan residential and apartment, so the design of these apartment follow the masterplan that has been made by the developer. The design of the apartments is carried out through the study of building typology, up to field studies similar apartments. Retrieval of data conducted by survey to similar apartments and literature review. Unique site shape and location of site is behind the shop directing attention to site planning design. The main issue of the design apartment is a social space, shape, entrance, and public and private. Social space will used as orientation of the building design start from zoning site until the translation of social space on the site and buildings. Composition of mass is designed to surround the social spaces on site. Mass of building take the simple forms and have a hierarchy that conforms the shape of site. In determining the entrance to the site, there should be a clear boundary between the site and the entrance to the shop so that entrance is placed in an area that is free of the shop. Vertical separation of the building function has been done to determine the county 's public and private. Horizontal separation of the particular floor should be done to determine the county 's public and private. The results of the design is a vertical residential apartment with outdoor space and roof garden that serves as a place for socializing and recreation.<p align="justify"> |
