Summary: |
Ciremai Mountain is an active volcano in Indonesia, studying about hydrogeology of mount volcano is a challenge, stratovolcano volcano type will give multisystem of aquifer. The southern area of Ciremai Mountain is one of the most populous areas, fulfillment of the raw water requirements coming from the springs. There are 48 points of observation, 1 hot springs and 47 cold springs. The aquifer of the research area consists of volcanic deposits and lava, groundwater storage is pore and fractures system. Physical properties groundwater measured in the field, the properties are Temperature, pH, Eh, TDS, and EC. There are 18 groundwater sampling points which are tested by 13C isotope testing. The results of the analysis shows, there are 3 aquifer systems and 3 groundwater flow zones, manifestations on surface are depression, contacts, and fractures springs. The main control of groundwater flow in area are topography and geological structure which have trend is NW-SE. Rainfall in the study area about 1800 mm/year and the potential for groundwater recharge comes from infiltration about 416 mm/year. Surplus water conditions occur in the period November to April.
|
