To finish all construction activity effectively and efficiently, designing proper <br /> <br /> construction method, cost estimation, and schedule is very essential. The scope of work for construction management design is preparation work, substructure <br /> <br /> work, upper structure work, drainage work, and pavement work. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and architectural work will be designed conceptually. Planning begins with creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), followed by calculating the volume of work, determining a proper construction method, estimating the project’s cost, and scheduling. Cost estimation is done <br /> <br /> through several methods such as unit pricing and resource enumeration. The calculated costs are direct cost and indirect cost. Length of duration for the <br /> <br /> schedule is determined based on two factors which are heavy equipment’s productivity as the lead resource and manpower’s productivity as the lead resource. The result of cost estimation of Office Building in Gading Serpong is a bidding price of 315 billion rupiah. The result of schedule planning is a project duration of 487 days. Other results of the design are bar chart and S-curve of the project. text |
