Description
Summary:
Public Information is information that is produced, stored, managed, sent, and / or received by a public body relating to the organizer and administration of the state and / or organizer and the administration of other public bodies in accordance with the Act and other information relating to the interests public. The Public Information Disclosure Act mandates that every public body publish Public Information, because there is a paradigm shift from the previous information being closed, to be open to the public except excluded information. But on the other hand there is no clear framework or guidance in information management or records produced by public bodies. The design of this framework starts with analyzing the problems of management records in government organizations, process analysis, technology analysis and problem-based solution analysis using ISO 30301: 2011 standards on Records System Management and eight principles from ARMA International on Principles of Recordskeeping. This research produced a management records framework consisting of eight subprocesses grouped into three main processes, namely Creation, Distribution and Storage. The eight processes were then reduced to several activities that refer to the ISO 30301: 2011 standard. The framework has been successfully tested in PPID KPU West Java Province and can be used for other government organizations according to organizational needs.
