In principle, members of star clusters are bonded by gravitational forces, and move with relatively same trajectory. However, star clusters are not found isolated. They tend to be surrounded by background objects which are not bound to star clusters. Determination of membership in open clusters is more difficult than globular clusters. The reason is the distribution of stars in the open cluster is more diffuse. <br /> <br /> Minimum spanning tree (MST) is a common method to detect star clusters base on star density in celestial plane. With this method, star position’s data is used to look for denser star distribution. Using MST on vector point diagram of star proper motion itself is a new thing in determining membership of the star clusters. <br /> <br /> In this work, we will use reduced MST on vector point diagram of star proper motion to determine the cluster membership for each six open clusters: (1) Collinder 135, (2) IC 2391, (3) NGC 2632, (4) NGC 752, (5) NGC 869, and (6) NGC 2244. For results, this method can determine 95.02% stars candidate cluster membership. <p align="justify"> <br /> text
