It’s treated as a commitment by The Company; and as an effort to realize them, they focus on providing customer experience by putting their customers as the center of everything. To serve the customers, The Company, supported by the global corporation, is on their way to transform into a better organization with a new way of working. <br /> <br /> As a part of a corporation group, The Company is obligated to follow the basic referrals from the regional office. One of many referrals that come up from the regional office is to continuously improve their performance by trying to implement agile practice within the organization. The other offices overseas have started implementing it first and now it’s Indonesian office’s turn to prepare for further implementation. The preparation will be done thoroughly as it will involve the governance team and various divisions or areas to help the assessment for the best methodology for them. <br /> <br /> There are some business processes in the company that would not be suitable with the agile practice; hence it will need further analysis to identify the type of business processes that can be done with agile. In this research, there would be qualitative research to determine the indicators of readiness to implement agile. The indicators will be the guidance to see if The Company is ready for it. Data collection for the research are done by doing interviews with the members that are divided into four clusters of respondents. And the secondary data collection is done by analyzing the global corporation’s plan. <br /> <br /> The results of this study are the indicators of readiness for implementing agile and The Company’s readiness based on the indicators. The indicators are mindset, commitment, support, resources, silo mentality, orientation, teamwork, and organization. From the research, it’s also found that The Company isn’t quite ready for the change. Several organization designs also has been observed so that it can be matched with The Company’s needs. In the end, this research would also provide recommendations to help The Company to prepare themselves to be readier before implementing agile practice to their business processes, including the training, sharing session, and gradual implementation or trials. text |
