Summary: |
The length of Indonesia’s coastline is approximately 99.000 km (Badan Informasi Geospasial, 2013) and Indonesia consists of 14.4626 islands (Badan Pertanahan Nasional, 2017). This makes Indonesia has big potential of coastal and marine resources and Indonesia Nation have been widely utilize the potential of coastal and marine resources in Indonesia. However, the utilization is still not optimal and well intregrated due to the uncertainty of spatial boundary and the management iself tend to be sectoral so that sometimes the overlapping activites can be happened. Therefore, It is needed to integrate the regulation that regulates the activities in coastal area. An alternative that can integrate the administration of coastal area is marine cadastre.

The analysis from the legal aspect is that the legislation has not provided clear legal certainty because there is still a legal void and limitations that have not been explained in detail. From the technical aspect, the Central Sulawesi Space Allocation Map is in accordance with cartographic rules although there are still some minor faults. From the institutional aspect, based on the identification result, there are various institutions with various activities related to coastal area management but there is no mechanism or institution capable of synergizing policies in the management of coastal areas.
|
