The study is focused in region B, which has two mining blocks called Block 1 and Block 3. The mine scheduling is simulated using a software, namely GEOVIA Minesched 9.0.0. There are three scheduling scenarios which consider on the tin production target, those are 1000 tons of tin/year, 2000 tons of tin/year, and 3000 tons of tin/year. The mining production will be fulfilled simultaneously from Block 1 and Block 3 for the three scenarios. Based on the simulation that has been done, the result shows that scenario 1 with a production target of 1000 tons of tin/year has the net present value of $ 3,511,477, an internal rate of return of 16%, and payback period of 7 years. Scenario 2 with a production target of 2000 tons of tin/year has the net present value of $ 3,377,308, an internal rate of return of 17%, and payback period of 6 years. Scenario 3 with a production target of 3000 tons of tin/year has the net present value of $ 1,755,162, an internal rate of return of 15%, and payback period of 5 years. text |
