The purpose of this Final Project is to construct pressure vessel optimization model with mixed-integer nonlinear programming method, regulated by American Society of Mechanical Engineering. After that, the author shall calculate the minimum cost with nonlinear constraints and some variables, such as shell thickness (x1), head thickness (x2), inner radius (x3), and maximum shell length (x4). The author use two different methods, they are analytical method and spiral dynamics optimization method using MATLAB as the solver. text |
