improve the quality of TB therapy. Therefore, researched to find out the compliance of doctors to national <br />
<br />
management and evaluation of the use of anti-TB in Dr. H. A. Rotinsulu Lung Hospital. This research was <br />
<br />
a cross-sectional observational study with a retrospective design (January-April 2016) using medical record <br />
<br />
data sources of patients newly diagnosed with TB. The compliance indicators include the completeness of <br />
<br />
the drug regimen as well as laboratory testing in accordance with national TB treatment guideline. While <br />
<br />
the evaluation of drug use is done according to Gyssen algorithm. There were 83 patients with a pulmonary <br />
<br />
tuberculosis diagnosis that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the adherence analysis show that 100% <br />
<br />
of doctors are adherent to the treatment of TB in the administration of drug regimen types. As for the <br />
<br />
investigation, the level of doctor's compliance to the examination of acid-resistant bacilli (BTA) is 85.54%, <br />
<br />
x-ray examination is 72.29%, liver function examination 53.01%, and examination of kidney function <br />
<br />
61.45%. There were 29 patients who completed therapy completely and 34 patients dropped out of <br />
<br />
treatment. From the evaluation of anti-TB use were 242 cases of drug interactions, 34 cases did not match <br />
<br />
the duration, and 14 cases did not match the dose so that the potential drug-related problems (DRPs) of <br />
<br />
3.5 cases for each patient treated with anti-TB. This study supports the need for hospital management <br />
<br />
efforts to improve the adherence of doctors to the national TB treatment guideline in Dr. H. A. Rotinsulu <br />
<br />
Lung Hospital and consistently monitored drug therapy to reduce the incidence of DRPs. <br />
