Description
Summary:Immune response plays an important role in the loss of dengue virus infection in the human body. Naturally, the immune response involved in dengue virus includes humoral and cellular immune responses. In this study, the mathematical model of the humoral and cellular immune responses against dengue virus in the human body is presented. In addition, level of hematocrit in the human body based on the interaction between dengue virus and immune response is also discussed. For this model, the Basic Reproductive Number (R_0) can be obtained, and the equilibrium points and its stability are presented. The results show that the cellular immune response is more dominant than humoral immune response, and the changes of hematocrit level occurs because of free viruses particles interacting with immune cells.
