DEVELOPING JOB ANALYSIS TO INCREASE JOB PERFORMANCE IN BUMDES MARGABAKTI PERSADA

Indonesia is a country which has a wealth of natural qualities that must be maintained and managed properly. Its natural wealths could become resources to advance Indonesia in many sectors including economy. In order to manage the natural wealth of Indonesia for economy, the government developed a program called BUMDES (Badan Usaha Milik Desa). BUMDES is a legal business entity which is established and owned by the village government. The goal of BUMDES is for community prosperity by fostering economic activity in the village itself. BUMDES Margabakti Persada established in 2015 and still growing to achieve its goals. BUMDES Margabakti Persada is one of the best BUMDES in West Java that successfully welfare community through its product. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> However, eventhough BUMDES Margabakti Persada success in welfare its community, but currently BUMDES Margabakti Persada experienced a problem which is decreasing in member’s performance. The declining member’s performance happened because most of the members are confused about their tasks. In order to increase the member's performance, the researcher developed job analysis. Job analysis needed because there is no clear job description and job specification in all positions in BUMDES Margabakti Persada that caused work confusion between members. Moreover, the result of job analysis could be used as the guideline for members in doing their work. In determining the job description and job specification, the researcher used the primary data from the interview result and the secondary data such as organization structure and business process of BUMDES Margabakti Persada. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The job analysis was conducted for all positions in BUMDES Margabakti Persada. The result of job analysis was compared with the current job situation in BUMDES Margabakti Persada and it turns out that there is happened an overlapping job between members since there are some positions that not do their job and some others do the job beyond their position. Therefore, witht the new job analysis, it could give the clarity of the work for members of BUMDES Margabakti Persada in order to make them perform properly and to increase their performance. Moreover, the result of this job analysis is only able to be implemented in BUMDES Margabakti Persada.
