Summary: |
The allocation of CO2 emissions associated with petroleum refineries to petroleum joint products is a necessary step to evaluate the environmental impact of individual automotive fuels. Oil refining is essentially a joint production system and due to the complex nature of the process involved, it is very difficult to establish an allocation pattern for oil products. This problem can be modeled by extending the approach using linear programming and fuzzy linear programming (FLP).

In the problem of modeling the allocation of CO2 emissions in oil refineries there are various factors affecting production such as company asset and crude oil capacity. Several cases are discussed to see how much the impact of reducing or adding asset and crude capacity to cost, CO2 emissions and production results using the FLP model.

The application of the FLP model to the problem of CO2 emissions allocation in oil refineries referring to the linear programming model of CO2 emission allocation is to set targets on financing crude oil purchases resulting in better solutions, in this case the cost and CO2 emissions resulting from the FLP model are expected to have a lower value when compared to the solutions obtained from the linear program model.
|
