Mean Water Level (MWL) is used to be river’s vertical datum is resulted from tide observation which observed in 29 piantans. MWL is a local datum that have to reference with horizontal control point (bench mark / hidro pilar) by leveling meausurement. Horizontal control point is gotten from GPS surveys which has WGS 84 reference system (ellipsoid height system). <br />
<br />
MWL to be calculated base on tide observation, which has two period of time observation (3x38 hours and 29 piantans) each location. Height of MWL 3x38 hours should be reduction to MWL 29 piantans, that are assumed MWL average can avice MWL 29 piantans. Then, MWL average can determine the value of Chart Datum among of the river by using value of Zo (from secondary data), 130 cm. <br />
<br />
Value of MWL average among of the river are Marabahan (46.777 m), Bahalayung (46.286 m), Ampera (46.468 m), Kaladan (46.560 m), Salai's River (47.000 m), Puting's River (47.035 m). The other one, value of Chart Datum are Marabahan (45.477 m), Bahalayung (44.986 m), Ampera (45.168 m), Kaladan (45.260 m), Salai's River (45.700 m), Puting's River (45.735 m).<p align="justify"> |
