The data are analyzed and interpreted by referring to defined research framework.

This study also uses case study in one unit of research area. Sagara village was chosen as a research area because it has the characteristics needed in this study. The characteristic of research area is where a government land reform program has been conducted over a period of more than 20 years before the research was conducted. These characteristics are useful to see the figure of the effect of the various types of land access on the welfare of farmers. In addition, a long period of time makes it possible to see changes in the level of welfare of farmers in the study area.

This research has successfully identified various variables related to land access and farmer's welfare. In addition, this study quantitatively proves that there is a significant effect of farmers 'access to land on farmers' welfare. The effect occurs when the relationship of all variables of land access occurs simultaneously. Qualitatively, this study also succeeded in obtaining additional variables that affect access to land, farmers 'welfare, including additional variables that affect access to land to farmers' welfare. This research produces recommendations for policy makers in particular with regard to poverty alleviation and rural development agendas taking into account various variables of access to land that may affect the welfare of poor farmers. In addition, the study is aware that it has several limitations, including related to the literature used as the source of reference, the influence of external factors, and the variation of various types of land tenure. Another limitation of this research relates to the lack of "ideal" land area that is considered to support the improvement of farmers' welfare.

Keywords: Land Access, welfare, poor farmers
