Assets investigation and identification require assets management process. Commonly, assets management process still use conventional method. This method has weaknesses in spatial and information updating. In recent years, the spatial data acquisition technologies developed fastly. One of the technologies is Building Information Modeling (BIM) from Laser Scanning data. Given both technologies, the building or structure may be modelled in three-dimension from point cloud data. According to a number of literatures, the application of BIM to the process of assets management may increase efficiencies of time, energy, and cost. In addition, the application of BIM increases accuracy in terms of spatial and easy to identify assets location as well. This research aimed to explore those BIM method benefit using accurate laser scanning observation. Laser scanning used to obtain point cloud data both building structure itself and the properti placed inside the building. The research took place in official building of deperment of geodesy and geomatic-ITB. By using laser scanner, the threedimension data on the entire contents of building may be taken and then be used to construct a three-dimension model. The complete three dimension model then integrated with assets data, to construct three dimension assets information.<p align="justify"> text
