Since 2010 Lusi mud flow rate have declined by 10,000 m3 per day with the material produced water and less mud (colloidal). The plan project to handle the mudflow done by storing mud in embankment then pumped into Madura Strait through a Porong River. The amount of water discharge in Porong River is the main factor of the ability of river to drain the mud to the sea. Sediment deposition occurred at the river bed of Porong River during the dry periods after which the sediment deposits on the river bed were gradually eroded and flushed away to the ocean by floods during the wet periods. Sediment bank occurs at the mouth of the river resulting in reduced river capacity to drain mud. The mud distribution is important to obtaine to know the areas where sediment will deposit or eroded. Numerical methods are used to determine the pattern of mud distribution influenced by tidal, wind, wave stress, and river flow. Simulation done using hydrodynamic model and transport sediment from MIKE21 HD-MT. Sediment spread more widely during the west season or wet periods and tends to move southeastward, while in the east seasons or dry periods the sediment moves tends to the north. The highest mound of sediment after simulation reach over 2,8 m on the east side of the island. Sediment will settle during dry season and will eroded on wet season.<p align="justify"> text
