Description
Summary:
Zysku Xena is a Bandung-based women’s moslem fashion company. The product produced by Zysku Xena is a fashion product that has a limited selling period that can obsolete, so Zysku Xena must plan and manage inventory, production, and price of goods well to achieve optimum profit.

At present, planning and inventory management, production and price of goods are determined intuitively and do not have a quantifiable reference. Production planning starts from determining the initial inventory amount determined based on demand forecasting from the average of sales in previous periods. This results in less optimum profit.

This study proposes maximum production policies as an initial inventory to anticipate the peak of sales, then make a policy of price, quantity of production, and inventory based on the remaining initial inventory during the sales period. These initial inventories are categorized into four groups according to their level (extremeoverestimated, overestimated, Adequate, and Underestimated). These categories play an important role in determining the amount of production, inventory and prices during the selling period.

The proposed policy of this study found that the profit on the proposed policy increased 54% compared to the initial policy. It was also found that the model of this study was suitable for corporate use, because the managerial impact was not too large. So that it can be concluded that this proposed policy answers the problem of the object of research.
