| Summary: | Bekasi Public Library is a building that has three main functions such as library, commercial, and office. Those three main activities in this building need the clean water which affects the level of health and amenities od building;s occupants. Therefore, there needs to the clean water plumbing design which complies with the requirements specified by the government. The building supplies the water from PDAM, Rainwater Harvesting, and greywater reuse. The water tank system that is designed is gravity system. Rainwater dan greywater will be treated first before used for flushing system and for PDAM water will be used to fulfill the need of non-flushing system and fire protection system. The main goal of Bekasi Public Library water plumbing system design is to determine the pipe dimensions from water tank to the plumbing units. The water collected in the ground tank and then pumped to the roof tank to be distributed to each plumbing unit. Recycling water dan PDAM water will be collected in separate tank. The design also includes fire protection system for the building. It includes sprinkler and fire hydrant system. The placement and pipe dimensions of fore protection system should be determined by the regulations. |
