The application of open journal systems to various scientific journal service needs to be accompanied by suitable technology so that the journals produced in the system can be accounted for. Development of a Scientific Journal Management System that can record transactions with detail becomes very important. Some of the latest technologies can support this function. One of the technologies that is developing at this time, namely Blockchains. This technology allows for detailed transaction recording with a high level of security. The application of blockchains in the management of scientific journals is expected to be able to create a system that is open for users to be creative but still produce documents that can appropriate appreciation for the parties involved and be accounted for. This final project will discuss about scientific journal management condition in Indonesia nowadays. Some organization which provide scientific journal management service will be the benchmark for analyzing existing system. Implementation of Blockchain-based Scientific Journal Management is done to answer the problems and opportunities which is found in analysis before. Scientific Journal Management System Development can run all of functionalities based on the testing result of prototype. The functions which can be run are standard process of scientific journal management with the added features for recording all transactions to blocks. text
