Summary: | <p align="justify">Smart Headlight System is a vehicle lighting system that has the ability to adapt to the behavior of the movement of the car and the circumstances surrounding the car. One feature of the Smart Headlight System is being able to change the projection of the car's headlights when the car is turning in accordance with the radius of the road. The feature is equipped with a car attitude sensor system to detect whether the car is turning. The design of the car attitude sensor system is done by using the MPU-6050 sensor and the car speed sensor from On-Board Diagnostic (OBD), where the two sensors will then be combined to determine the road bend radius of the car. In this article will be explained also about testing the sensor system conducted in some road corners. This test is carried out by taking the radius data of the road read by the sensor, and comparing it with the calculation of the road radius manually, where the two results will show whether the sensor system is running as expected. 3 dimensional modeling in Smart Headlight System design is done by using Autodesk Maya software, as a means of verification to prove whether the feature on Smart Headlight System can improve street lighting in the corner.<p align="justify"> |
