<p align="justify">Ubud, a serene area in Gianyar, central Bali, is well known for “a showroom” of Balinese arts and cultural expressions. In this town so many artists and arts spaces exist expandly. However, existing cultural and arts spaces, like museums and galleries, are still internal and conventional, have not been promoted as more flexible and diverse creative community spaces. Consequently, the artists and their artworks tend not to be able to develop over the modern era. Thus, considering that main issue, the Regional Government of Gianyar Regency decides to hold the project of Ubud Cultural and Arts Center as Creative Community Space. This project will be expected to offer a new image for arts and cultural expressions and activities in Ubud and support the vision of the Regional Government of Gianyar Regency as well to develop Gianyar, especially Ubud, into a cultural heritage area. In order to build the character and blaze of creative community space, this cultural and arts center is devised to be a public open space that has flexibility in accommodating every activity and need of the artists and visitors. At last, to create a great identity, the Ubud Cultural and Arts Center is designed in the big concept of "The Intertwining of Local Spirits" which combines the local cultural wisdom and wonderful natural beauty of Ubud.<p align="justify">
