Bamboo as a material is very eco-friendly if we consider the trees fast cycle of life. The use itself has also been supported by several government regulations. Processing techniques with bamboo and its elasticity had also been used by wide ranges of products. Yet the bamboo unique elasticity essences has not been fully utilized when it comes to the bouncing and functionalities of a wheel in transportation products. Meanwhile, these flexibilities in bamboo as a material can be optimized for the bounces and dim function on wheels in transportations. It is also more ecologically friendly compared to other rubber and aluminium material commonly found in wheels. From that fact, we can find an oppprtunity by making innovations and a market to develop this chance. The development made at the rank can optimalized the flexibilities from the bamboo material by research based while designing. These methods are considered experimental materials. The experiments are done in order to find the correct shape and technique to apply to the designing process of a wheel product. The design needs certain guidance from high-precision creaftsmanship. Furthermore, this product can be categorized as a high-craft. The wheels can also be related to the needs consumed by middle to upper class society for recreational needs. Scooters are also considered as products consumed by middle to upper class society. These things are the problems connecting the bamboo wheels for scooters as a better option instead of using wheels made from rubber and other aluminium materials. text |
