Description
Summary:
Along with the rapid development of an area accompanied by the emergence of rapid urbanization and urban population growth triggers quite complex problems in various fields in a city, especially in the field of transportation. In addition to general transportation problems such as congestion, accidents, and carbon emissions. A fairly complex problem found in transportation at this time is that there is no integration of services and proper and complete transportation. This problem is not only in the transportation service system but in the overall service of the city. The concept of smart city is a solution that can solve these problems. The smart city concept makes urban services and operations more efficient and integrated. One field/cluster that supports the smart city concept is Smart Transportation. Smart transportation in smart city shows the role and integration between parties involved in various transportation services with support from information and communication technology.

Based on the characteristics of smart city, one of which is integrated, Enterprise Architecture is needed to integrate all transportation services and to ensure alignment between business, data, applications and technology infrastructure. The design of this smart city Enterprise Architecture uses TOGAF 9.1. While the research methodology in designing this Enterprise Architecture uses Design Research Methodology (DRM).

This study resulted in the design of Enterprise Architecture smart city in the domain of transportation for highways and toll roads which consists of four main components, namely business architecture, data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture tailored to the activities and business processes of urban transportation systems in Indonesia. The results of this research can be concluded that Enterprise Architecture by using TOGAF 9.1 framework can be used for smart city development, especially in the process of designing business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. This research can be further developed by expanding the scope of transportation modes, and it should be noted to know more about the service conditions of each institution involved to be able to produce a more accurate and complete enterprise smart transportation architecture.
