<p align="justify">Article 33 verse 3 of Indonesia Primary Constitution 1945 states that earth, water, and air are government properties and are managed for citizen prosperity. As an archipelagic state with the ratio of sea to land nearly 2:1, Indonesia should manage the marine resources for improving its citizen prosperity. Riau Islands is a province which area is composed of 96% sea. Consequently, a vast marine activities is conducted in Riau Islands. However, the availability of legal aspect concerning the marine cadastre objects is still limited. In this research, we recite the marine cadastre objects in Riau Islands, the institutions related to the identified objects, and the properness of those objects for having a strong law assurance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This research is limited to the marine cadastre objects identified in Riau Islands Province. Those identified objects are listed and classified. Analyzed based on the institutional aspect to identify the institution responsible for the objects. The objects is also be analyzed for its properness for having a strong law assurance. This analysis is based on the availability of legal aspect related to the objects and space allocation plan for marine cadastre objects in Riau Islands. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> We identified 11 categories of marine cadastre object in Riau Islands and 15 institutions that have the responsibility for managing those objects. Among those 11 categories of marine cadastre only two objects are proper for having strong law assurance. <p align="justify">
