There are some classification of hydrocephalus, one of which is normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). In this paper, we try to simulate the development of NPH in adults human by using analytical model where the brain is modeled by spherical shell and the brain parenchyma followed hyperelastic material which have two pahe (biphasic), fluid and solid pore. The production and absorption of CSF is assumed to follow new hypothesis which is produce and absorbed everywhere in the brain cavity. The result shows that there is no significant change of intraventricular pressure (less than 1 mm Hg) which is appropriate with the experimental result of NPH.<p align= "justify"> text |
