Most of the people in Pekalongan City have jobs as craftsmen and batik entrepreneurs. Currently, batik product competition in Pekalongan City is increasing. Batik production not only comes from the city of Pekalongan but growing in other big cities. The existence of batik competition is increasingly causing batik entrepreneurs to be more innovative in bringing new creations and ideas to maintain the production of Pekalongan batik. Currently batik entrepreneurs have made various innovations such as product innovation, process and marketing of batik. This study aims to see how the impact of innovations that have been done by batik entrepreneurs in improving the economy of local communities. The research method used in this research is using descriptive statistics method and multiple regression method to explain the phenomenon of individual characteristics, type of innovation conducted by batik entrepreneurs, batik's economic activity is seen based on the growth of business income, labor and sales area coverage. Regression analysis was conducted to determine the impact of innovations that have been made on improving the community's economy. The results obtained that the innovation that has the greatest impact on the economy is process innovation. These results are expected to be input for batik industry entrepreneurs, government of Pekalongan City and related research institute in developing innovative processes that can improve the welfare of local communities in Pekalongan City so that batik in Pekalongan can continue to compete with other batik products and Pekalongan batik culture can continue to be preserved. <p align="justify"> <br /> text
