| Summary: | Petrosea as one of the mining contractors experienced a sharp decline in revenue due to falling commodity prices of coal where coal mining services are the main backbone of Petrosea's business services. This research is conducted by taking secondary data from internal and external companies. To find out the correlation between stock price fluctuation influenced by coal price to company's financial performance by using Pearson Correlation Coefficient method, this calculation result is expected to provide the basis for the most adequate business strategy to overcome it. The process is divided into four main processes: <br />

1. Observe the reference price of coal. <br />
<br />
2. Observe stock prices, financial performance, composition and business processes of Petrosea. <br />
<br />
3. Perform regression calculations to determine the relationship of measured variables. <br />
<br />
4.Provide recommendations to company based on observations and calculations of the measured variables. <br />
<br />
As well as input to review the composition of the company's business whether to keep the mining industry as the main service that generates profits or shifts the business platform and diversifies the business of other fields. |
